As you are already aware, plans for the 2012 Post Prom Party are well underway and moving at full steam ahead! If you missed the earlier message, prom is May 17th, a Thursday night, with Friday scheduled as a school day off for seniors. Post Prom is an all-night, school sponsored, free of charge party, which offers an entertaining, alcohol free, pressure free environment. It will once again be held at “The Rinks” in Shelton.
We understand that the concept of a school sponsored celebration is a relatively new tradition for the students and some are reluctant to change their mindset. We are counting on your support to help make this an overwhelming success! Please share a positive message about this party, encourage your senior to go, and commit to a “Not in My Backyard” approach when it comes to hosting an after prom party at your home.
