St Joseph Fund Parents Campaign

Dear Parents,

We are honored and delighted to serve as the Chairpersons for the 2012-13 Parents Campaign for the St Joseph Fund.

When our kids were younger and we were new to Trumbull, we made it a tradition to go to the annual Thanksgiving football games. When our son Quinn made the decision to attend St Joe’s 6 years ago, we were thrilled. He could not wait to play football and baseball for St Joe’s. During his junior and senior years, the football team won the State Championship. It was an achievement we all celebrated!

Quinn graduated in 2011. We cannot understate the great experience he had academically, athletically, socially and spiritually. He made some great friends from the neighboring towns that he will have for a lifetime.

Cole is currently a junior and is enrolled in numerous honors classes. He has enjoyed participating in the school play, working back stage on the musical and onstage in The Twelfth Night. Cole, too, has made a great group of friends.

Our sons are different in many ways, which only shows how diverse and yet embracing the St Joe’s family is. When we attended our first Open House, we were impressed by how many teachers were St Joseph alumni. This demonstrated to us the uniqueness of this special school.

Even though Jaye and I are not St Joseph alums, we continue to feel part of this close knit community. We attended the 50^th anniversary gala this past June and had the pleasure of meeting so many families that make up this network of friends. We had a great time working together with one common goal—to raise funds for the new state of the art Academic Center. I just got a sneak peek at it and it is absolutely beautiful!

Our goal for the Parents Campaign this fall is $125,000. Thank you to those who continue to contribute annually. We hope you will make a special effort in this our 50^th year. To our first time donors, know that no gift is too small. Please continue the legacy: Privilege and Responsibility.
