Cheerleading has been an integral part of St. Joe's since the school's inception. The varsity squad cheers at all varsity football and boys basketball games, both home and away. The junior varsity squad cheers at home contests for boys JV basketball and girls varsity basketball.
The varsity cheerleading squad has been named FCIAC Grand Champions three times - 2000, 2008 and 2009. The squad competes in Class M for the CIAC state competition. Click the link below to see the cheerleaders in action.
The school offers both varsity and junior varsity cheerleading squads. Tryouts are open to any student.
